Government Relations

The AAF was founded with the intention to self-regulate the advertising industry and hold itself to the highest standards. To that end, the AAF protects and promotes advertising at the local, state, and federal level from local grassroots activities to national lobbying.

Many local chapters, including AAF Greenville, contribute to the national efforts through their own government relations committees. Committee members foster relationships with local and state legislators and keep them apprised of the economic impact of our industry. They also monitor pertinent legal issues to keep members informed and determine strategy about how to best address legislative issues in coordination with AAF national.
